I've been sitting here now for the past hr trying to gather my thoughts & how I should go about writing this small letter, so I'm letting it flow through, speaking from my heart. I'm truly bearing my soul with every word in this letter. I believe that there are many types of s o u l m a t e s out there, but this is for the man who i end up with...
Dear S o u l m a t e,
You came into my life when things were unexpected, you completely threw me off guard. you are everything I imagined you to be. grounded, someone who is completely balanced, knowing yourself completely from the inside out, the way you make me feel completely free, you hear me, understand me, what I say matters, I can be my full self with you & knowing that you treasure every single moment when you are with me, I am respected & nurtured. the way you feel at deep levels & are completely open with me. also the way you treat others kindly with compassion. I love how honest, truthful, responsible & accountable you are. you make things less complicated. you never take anything for granted. I am always your first & only choice, theres no doubt at all about that. not even a hesitation. before you met me, I really needed to heal myself first. I'm sure you had to do the same thing. We all have people come into our lives for a reason & I'm thankful you came into mine. Sometimes I forget that we are all only human, we sometimes go back to what we think we need, but we all know how that ends. I love the way you challenge me to better myself, the way you make me laugh, the way you make me smile, the way you make me happy. when I am with you its like time stands still, two beating hearts, nothing else exists but you & I. thank you for being my best friend, lover, being your everything. My heart is completely full, letting go was the best thing that I have ever done. what a time to be alive. my heart is open & letting you in. when you know, you just know. thank you. (Nov 28, 2016)
